ICTFCFollowing the unacceptable conduct of a small group of “supporters” who were ejected from the Brechin City Football Ground at our Championship League game on Saturday 26th August, the Club can now confirm that a number of them have been banned from attending games at both our home and away games for the remainder of this season.

Should, going forward, any of them attempt to enter the Caledonian Stadium or are found in the ground without prior approval, they will be ejected and Police Scotland informed.  This ruling also applies to all away grounds where we are scheduled to be playing,

We also wish to make it known that any individual found assisting a banned individual to enter a ground where we will be playing, for example by purchasing a match ticket on their behalf, will also face banning sanctions.

The Club is also aware of a group of supporters who operate under the name of the “Ultras”.  They are a particularly vocal group of supporters, something that we have no concerns with, providing, going forward, they temper their language, cease setting off smoke bombs and cease causing damage at home and away grounds.  All supporters are expected to behave in a respectful way at all times. In addition to the damage caused to the Brechin travelling supporter’s bus, the Club has now received an invoice from Brechin City for the damage caused to their ground on 26th August, where these “Ultras” supporters congregated. Should they fail to temper their “enthusiasm”, further action will be taken against them.

Looking forward, we continue to review our security arrangements and thank Police Scotland for their assistance and support in this matter

As we have stated in the past and reiterate again here, ICTFC will not tolerate unacceptable conduct at Tulloch Caledonian Stadium or away football stadia. Unacceptable conduct is conduct which is deemed violent or disorderly. Violent Conduct includes any actual, attempted or threatened physical violence against any person or intentional damage to property.

We very much regret having found it necessary to take this course of action.
