A boardroom guest on Saturday was one of the club’s furthest travelled regular supporters Linda Rogers. Linda is a season ticket holder and travels to most of our homes games by underground, train and bus from Watford, near London. A 30-hour round trip! That’s commitment.
She first attended a game at the stadium seven years ago and really enjoyed the experience. She said: “I like Inverness and on my first visit to see ICT I found the club so homely and friendly. I started coming to four or five games a season and more recently i invested in a season ticket and try and make most games.” Linda celebrates her 65th birthday tomorrow (Monday).
Club Chairman Graham Rae said: “It was a real pleasure to have Linda in the boardroom on Saturday. It is so inspiring to meet supporters with such commitment. “Linda intends to be at our next home game against Dundee United so we need to make amends for Saturday’s defeat with a win. Meanwhile we wish her a very happy birthday on Monday.”
