MATCH INFO

Elgin City v Inverness Caledonian Thistle

SPFL Trust Trophy

2pm kick-off

Borough Briggs

Barry Wilson

“We’re looking forward to it. It’s a cup game and we’re looking to try and win the cup. It’s not too far to travel which is always nice too and hopefully it will be a good crowd at Borough Briggs.”

“We look forward to every game. We may use the game to play one or two players who haven’t had much game time but our squad is low on numbers as it is so there probably won’t be as many changes as the Buckie match in the last round and hopefully we can progress in the cup.”

“Boys need game time, they have to be ready for when they are called upon for league duty. We need to get them up to speed if we can. We’ve had a couple of friendlies in the last week or so for them too. They should be getting closer to where we want them to be. Saturday gives one or two the chance to get more game time under their belt.”

“I’ve obviously not been starting as much as I would like in the league but there’s not much you can do about as the team has been doing really well recently, sitting top of the league.”

“I’m looking to take my chance this weekend, hopefully get a wind go into the next round.”

“It’s another game for me, another chance to prove myself and chance to get back into the team. We want to win the game and get through into the next round.”
