GAME INFO

Dunfermline Athletic v Inverness CT

cinch Championship

Saturday 18th September 2021

3pm kick-off

East End Park

Preview: Billy Dodds

“I watched Dunfermline’s game against Ayr United and I thought they were unlucky, they had chances in the game.”

“Ayr Utd scored when they were up the park and they made mistakes for the goals. I listened to Peter Grant after the match he said that they created chances, missed them and got punished for the mistakes. That’s exactly what I saw, this is a dangerous game for us.”

“They are one of the sides that were tipped to be up there after reaching the play-offs last season and I think they’ll still be there but they need to get a run on to get back in it. They are one of the teams that were gauging ourselves on, even though they haven’t started the season well they are a good side.”

“We have got to be at it. Even though we’re currently top and they’re currently bottom, anyone can beat anyone in this Championship.”

TEAM NEWS

Head Coach Billy Dodds said: “Michael Gardyne is still touch and go. We’ll see how he is.”

“We’ve got one other niggle but apart from that we’ve got a good squad that’s ready to go and I’m hoping everyone else will be fit and ready to go.”
