A community fun day at the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium on Sunday promises to be a big hit with the community.

No fewer than 67 teams have registered to take part in a series of games on the stadium pitch.

Events begin at 9am and continue until 4pm.

In association with McDonalds, the club has organised a schedule that includes the young, the disabled and those who have reached the stage where walking football is fun.

Craig Masterton, ICT Head of Community, is delighted with the response to the community fun day.

He said: “Opening up the stadium to the community is a great way to engage with our supporters and their friends and families.  We have tried to organise something for everyone and it promises to be an action-packed fun day.”

Yvonne Crook, ICT Chief Executive, added: “The club is wholly committed to working with the community and our community team do a great job in working with young and old.  The response to the fun day has been terrific and we intend to build on this success in engaging with our communities. We are delighted to be working in partnership with McDonalds to deliver this fun day.”

There will be 4-a-side and 5-a-side matches on the pitch between 9 am and 1.30, when ICT goalkeeper and Under 18 team coach Ryan Esson will take an hour-long training session.

The day ends with walking football and a session for disabled footballers.
