Inverness Caledonian Thistle will begin their league season this Saturday as they face Falkirk in the Ladbrokes Championship. The Caley Jags will be hoping for a good start to the season after ending the season on a good run of form last term.

Team News

Cammy Mackay has continued his return from injury as he played in Tuesday’s 16-0 win over Fort William. Sean Welsh returns from suspension.

The Opponent

Paul Hartley has been busy this summer as he’s brought in 13 new signings which include: Tom Dallison (Brighton and Hove Albion), Dennon Lewis (Watford), Leo Fasan (Kilmarnock), Patrick Brough (Morecambe), Dimitrios Froxylias (Dumbarton), Ruben Sammut (Chelsea), Paul Paton (Plymouth), Deimantas Petravicius (Motherwell), Scott Harrison (Hartlepool), Rees Greenwood (Gateshead), Dan Turner (Port Vale), Dylan Mackin (Livingston) and Marcus Haber (Dundee)

Hartley joined Falkirk midway through last season and steered the club away from relegation play-off danger and will be hoping to build on that this campaign and to be closer to the top end of the table. Falkirk failed to qualify from their Betfred Cup group as they won two and lost two of their matches.

Head-to-head: Falkirk Wins: 23     Draws: 9       ICTFC Wins: 14
