Commercial Dept

Inverness Caledonian Thistle Football Club has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Commercial/Conference/Operations and an experienced Banqueting Events Manager/Sales Executive to not only help drive the growth of the football based business, but to take a major part in developing a brand new stream of events business here at Caledonian Stadium.  

This newly created full-time role will give you the opportunity to manage the full life cycle of events,  including lead generation, relationship management, event planning and delivery and networking with a myriad of clients both old and new to the City.

Main Roles & Responsibilities

  • Generate and/or support the development of all commercial revenue streams for the business
  • Help create, design and deliver an exciting new C&B offering here at the Stadium
  • Develop relationships and revenue streams 
  • Ensure that relationships with all commercial partners of the club are successfully maintained through regular internal and external networking events
  • Work closely with the media department to create content, drive sales and traffic
  • Ensure the CRM system, sales and invoicing process is accurate and up to date

Skills & Experience Required

  • Good literacy and numeracy 
  • Computer literate and proficient in IT 
  • A level of experience within the C&B and Events industry
  • Sales and marketing experience 
  • Full UK driving licence  (access to a vehicle is preferable)

Accounts Assistant

Inverness Caledonian Thistle Football Club has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant.

Main Roles & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for operation of Purchase Ledger and associated invoice controls
  • Responsible for Sales Ledger maintenance including issue of invoices and credit control
  • Responsible for accounting for Income including banking for Tickets and Shop as well as ledger entry including associated controls and systems
  • Support Merchandise stock control system including creating products and back-office functions on in-house and online platforms
  • Support Ticketing functions providing cover in Ticket Office at peak times
  • Responsible for Cash functions on matchday including floats, and reconciliation of cash and card payments

  • Be organised, thorough, accurate and honest
  • Ability to accurately record all transaction with attention to detail a key attribute 
  • Ability to work as part of a small team with minimal supervision
  • Ability to deal with customers, suppliers, fans, and colleagues at all levels

  • Flexible approach to working hours and home matchday attendance is required

Skills & Experience Required

  • Computer literate and proficient in IT particularly in Excel and office software
  • Knowledge of Sage accounting software required
  • Good numeracy  and literacy
  • Relevant accounts office experience
