The partnership will raise brand awareness at grassroots level as well as on the global stage.

Following the recent launch of Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC’s (ICTFC) new mascots, Nessie and Nessa, aboard a vessel operated by Jacobite Loch Ness Cruises earlier this summer, both organisations have agreed a brand partnership which will see them collaborate on a range of initiatives designed to enhance visitor experiences throughout the Highlands.

This partnership represents a major boost to ICTFC’s international visibility. With tens of thousands of tourists from around the world sailing on Jacobite’s iconic Loch Ness cruises each year, the local football club will now be showcased to a global audience, opening the door to increased recognition and a growing international fan base.

Supporters can look forward to exclusive discounts, joint ticket opportunities, special matchday giveaways and promotional activities throughout the season. Jacobite’s mascot, Jacobite Jess, will also be present at selected ICTFC home games, and players from ICTFC will make guest appearances at Jacobite’s events over the summer. Customers sailing  with Jacobite Loch Ness Cruises will be offered specially discounted matchday tickets at the Sarens PSG Stadium, giving visitors even more to enjoy during their time in the Highlands.

Alan Rawlinson, Business Development Manager at Jacobite Cruise, said:

“This partnership is the perfect match and a great way to conclude our 50th anniversary year. Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC is so important to our local community, and of course many of our staff, and we are excited to play our part in putting the club on the international stage. A holiday that combines the stunning Loch Ness with football, such a significant part of Scottish culture, will be pretty hard to beat – as I hope ICTFC will be too!”

Andrew Benjamin, Commercial Director at Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC, said:

“We’re excited to be entering this partnership with Jacobite Loch Ness Cruises. This collaboration brings together the strength of the ICTFC community with the incredible reach and reputation of Jacobite Loch Ness Cruises. With thousands of international visitors stepping aboard each year, it offers the club a fantastic platform for global exposure.”

To mark the start of this partnership, Jacobite Cruises will be giving away two family tickets on a contemplation cruise at Saturday’s match against Hamilton Academical with two lucky fans’ seats selected at random!
