Head Coach Scott Kellacher spoke to the media ahead of this weekend’s trip to face Peterhead

On last week’s 2-2 draw with Kelty Hearts
“We’ve watched the game back, and I did think we were the better side. But, as I said last week, we just can’t afford to give teams a two-goal head start.”

“I thought we got the goals back early enough to give ourselves a good chance to win, but we have to make sure we have a bit more drive and edge about us to get the job done.”

“We’ll learn from every game where we don’t pick up full points, and hopefully we take something from last week.”

On Peterhead
“They are a very good side. The two guys there have done a great job, and their recruitment has been good too. I’ve watched them a lot, and even when they were in League Two I watched them and was very impressed.”

“Their record at their place is unbelievable, so we know this is going to be one of the hardest games going. They’re a team full of confidence, and it’s a big game. It’s going to be a really difficult one for us. We need to go into it confident, as we’ve got really good players in that dressing room, and when we’re at it we are a very good side.”

“We played each other earlier in the season, and even though we won 2-0, I felt the game was still close. I didn’t think there was too much in it, but we’re now at their place and we know it’s going to be a hard game. Credit to them, they’ve done great, but we’re going to have to go there and look to win the game. If we want to get to where we want to be at the end of the season, then we have to go to these places and win games of football.”

On the strong away record this season
“We like being on the road. The fans always turn up in their numbers too. It’s exciting, you want to go to these places, try your best, and try to get a win. We certainly won’t underestimate it, given the record Peterhead have at home.”

Injury latest
“Luis Longstaff (dead leg) has made good progress, but he’ll be assessed before the match. We have one or two suffering with niggles who will also be assessed.”
