Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC can confirm that our final signing of TODAY is defender Remi Savage, who signs on a permanent deal from Newcastle United.
Savage, 22 years-old, started his career at Liverpool FC where he was in the club’s academy system since he was just five years-old. The centre-back made his under-18s debut for Liverpool under Steven Gerrard in the 2017/18 season and was part of the Reds’ FA Youth Cup winning squad the following season before signing a first professional contract in the summer of 2020.
Remi joined Newcastle United from Liverpool in July 2021 for £250,000 and has featured for their Under 23 side in the Premier League 2 during 2021/22, 2022/23 and this season.
