ICTFC v Stirling Albion

Saturday 17th July 2021

3pm kick-off

Premier Sports Cup Group Stage

Caledonian Stadium

Billy Dodds

“Tuesday was nice, there’s no doubt. You are alway apprehensive in your first in game in charge. You can do all the preparation, which we did, then we the game comes along you just want a positive result.”

“The manner in which we got it was great because that’s what they’ve been showing me from the start of pre-season. I really enjoyed it, really enjoyed the performance and we created a few chances.”

“We’d have liked more to be taken but I’ve got to remember it is the boys first game, they were a bit rusty, but I thought it was two great finishes and I couldn’t have asked for any more.”

“We really want to get out of this group. I want to get out of this group and so do the players and we know what has to be done.”

“Stirling Albion had a great result in the first match against Cove. We know Cove had a few problems but they still had to do the job and they did that.”

“It’s got to be the game approach for Stirling Albion and the same performance has a great chance of getting the job done but as I said going into the game against Peterhead, if we’re not at it we’re going to make it difficult for ourselves.”

Team News

Head Coach Billy Dodds confirmed Robbie Deas has returned to full training and that Billy Mckay will return to full training very soon, possibly next week.
