Inverness CT v Morton

Saturday 16th October 2021

3pm kick-off

Caledonian Stadium

Billy Dodds

“Morton have a wee bit of momentum. They got through on penalties in the Trust Trophy, A draw against Arbroath who are high flyers in the league with Dick Campbell as Manager of the Month and Ayr United was the other draw.”

“They have some momentum, I know Andy Millen and Gus MacPherson well and I know they will hard working team and if we’re not at it and doing what we’re supposed to do then we could be in trouble. However, I keep on say that and my players answer me and take heed of my warning.”

It’s home match, against Morton and if we play well then were more than capable of winning the game. But, if we don’t start well and give away bad goals again then we are capable of being in trouble as well. We’re very mindful that it is a game if we perform at our capabilities then we’re hopeful we can take more than a point from it.”

Roddy MacGregor

“We were looking forward to that Elgin game for a while. I gave us a chance to bounce back after the Hamilton defeat. It was a good confidence booster for the boys.”

“It’s always the same when you play Morton. They are a tough nut to crack and it’ll be no different on Saturday. They might not have started as well as we have but they are still a good side with good players. It’ll be a tough game as usual and one we’re looking to do our best to get the three points.”

Team News

“There’s a couple of wee niggles again. Most of them that were missing last week are back fit. There’s a couple with wee strains that might see one or two miss out. It’s a good squad, nearly the full squad barring a couple of niggles which is disappointing.”
