Inverness CT v Dundee United

Saturday 2nd November, 2019

3pm kick-off

Ladbrokes Championship

The Manager: John Robertson

The Dundee United game down there was strange, they started well but we had a really good spell up until equalising. The killer for us was that we lost a goal 40 seconds after it going 1-1.”

“In the second-half it was pretty even, we had a chance or two to go level but they scored the third. The moment they scored the third they put us to the sword and throughly deserved their win.”

“That was the first match of the season, they won three points for it. If we win 1-0, 2-0, 6-5 it doesn’t matter, we get three points for it and that’s all you can do.”

“Will there be a bit of motivation to sow that we’re a better team than we were on the first day? Yes, of course there will be but we’ve got to really look at our strengths and what we’ve done well. When we’re at it, when we play and focus as a team then we’re a good side.”

Team News

“We’ve got a few bumps and bruises as you’d imagine as we had two tough and long away trips to Morton and Queen of the South. We rested the lads on Wednesday, they had a good recovery session for some and a bit of ball work for others on Thursday.”

“It’s niggles, everyone will be available from the squad on Tuesday. James Keatings will come back into the squad and be available.”
