In light of the news that the SFA, SPFL and SWL will be following the lead of our English professional football, rugby and cricket colleagues in boycotting social media from 3pm onwards from Friday until Midnight on Monday 3rd May, Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC is happy to offer our wholehearted support for this joint initiative.

Our usual matchday coverage of Friday’s final game of the Season against Ayr Utd will come exclusively on our ww.ictfc.com This will now include team news, virtual mascot team reading video, live updates of the match and post-match reaction.

The Match will also be streamed on the SPFL Matchcentre, with PPV available for fans as normal although our PPV offering will be slightly different with more details to follow tomorrow.

CEO Scot Gardiner said: “We very much stand shoulder to shoulder with the other clubs and sports to convey the message that online abuse and discrimination of any kind is completely unacceptable.”

“We have been consistent in our use of the phrase #TogetherNess since March 2020 when the pandemic first struck and we started work to help our community, and this completely inclusive sentiment applies across every aspect of what we do and what we stand for as a club.”

“We are aware that many of our fans follow the match through our social media channels, and I’m pleased to confirm that for this Friday’s match only, updates will now be provided on our website www.ictfc.com and I would urge any supporters who want to follow the game online to please use this method.”
