We’d be grateful for volunteers to help us with some grounds maintenance around the stadium on Saturday 8th June. In particular we are looking for a couple of Machine Operators (Mini Diggers) and a couple of Dumper Drivers.
In addition we are looking for several personnel to do General Labouring duties such as digging and spreading of earth and the clearing of overgrown bushes around the car parks. If anyone has a Brushcutter and would like to take it along that would be most welcome.
Personnel should have their own Safety Boots and if they can take their own PPE that would help. There will however be some PPE available. Start time is 9.00am and there will be a morning snack and tea/coffee provided by the club and if it is a really hot day maybe even a refreshing drink at the end of the session.
The work to be undertaken is the start of a programme of improvements to the facilities at the stadium to enhance the spectator’s experience.
