ICTFC Players will be wearing Mikeysline t-shirts in the warm up this Saturday in our SPFL Trust Trophy 3rd round tie against Brechin City.
We were due to be wearing the t-shirts in the warm-up ahead of home game against Hamilton Accies for World Suicide Prevention Day on September 10th before the match was postponed.
ICTFC Sporting Director and Mikeysline Ambassador John Robertson said: “As a proud Ambassador for Mikeysline it is important that we continue to raise awareness of suicide and mental well being issues here in the city of Inverness and in the Highlands Region. No matter how low or how down you fell please remember there are people at Mikeysline willing and ready to talk to you and listen to hear whatever it is that is getting you down.”
“It’s vital that you speak with someone you trust if you are not quite feeling yourself and realise that there is always help available and that you do not have to worry about things on your own. You have heard the mantra ‘it is ok not to be ok’ and this is very true but please when you are not feeling ok please contact us or someone you know and trust as you are not on your own.”
