Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC are delighted to announce that the hugely successful Ajax Soccer Camp which sold out last year, will be returning to the City this August.

Exclusive to Inverness within Scotland, the club in conjunction with the ICT Community Trust and Leisure Force can now release the dates of the upcoming camp this summer.  

Over the four-day camp local talented players and coaches will benefit from the opportunity to learn from AJAX’s Academy. 

The programme will be directed and led by senior full time coaches from the Ajax Youth Academy in Amsterdam who are specialized in working with young academy players. 

  • Age group (8/9)-(10/11) years old: 1 coach works with maximum of 12 players  
  • Age group (12/13)-(14/15)-(16/17) years old: 1 coach works with maximum of 14 players 

The content of this 4-day camp will be based on the Amsterdam club’s philosophy, which goes hand in hand with the unique training method of the Ajax Youth Academy.  Boys and girls will even sign a contract to adhere the core values of their academy and will be evaluated on their performance during the 4 days of high intensity and fun training camp. 

In the evening, the Senior Ajax Academy Coach will lead seminars covering Coach Education with workshops detailing the different aspects of the Ajax philosophy and core values such as scouting, coaching practice youth development and professional pathway development and further details of this will be released shortly.

Coaches are encouraged to attend the camp during the morning or afternoon and take notes.  In the evening the Senior Academy Coach will lead seminars.
