A North-East businessman has returned to his former primary school – Hilton Primary in Inverness – to present the school with 20 tickets for a home SPFL Championship League match at Caledonian Stadium.
Stuart Charles Sinclair, Managing Director of Integrity XL Limited, Aberdeen, received 10 pairs of tickets for an Inverness Caledonian Thistle home game as a consolation prize in our prize draw for new sponsors of our first team shorts.
Stuart had no hesitation in donating his prize to Hilton Primary, whose Head Teacher Lynda Banks is organising a competition to find a home for the tickets.
Stuart said: “As Managing Director of Integrity XL Ltd and a former pupil of Hilton Primary School it was great to be given the opportunity recently by ICT FC to donate 20 match day tickets to the school.
“One of the things that immediately came to mind was the valuable contribution that both ICT FC and local businesses can make to each other and to the local communities in and around Inverness and surrounding areas, of which both primary and secondary school education plays a massive part.”
Stuart spent his primary school life at Hilton Primary and his grandparents lived at Esk Road, Hilton.
He added: “I thought it was an ideal opportunity to give something back to a great community and school that I’ve got particularly fond memories of. As a follow-up to my visit to Inverness from Aberdeen, I’d like to thank the head teacher and all her staff at Hilton Primary School for all the great work they do and ICT FC for not only continuing to be a great football club with a bright future, but also for their ongoing contributions and the efforts that their staff make within the local communities as a whole. My best wishes go to Manager, John Robertson, the team and everyone at ICT FC for the 2019-2020 season.”
Lynda Banks, Head Teacher at Hilton Primary School, said: “We are delighted that Integrity XL have provided us with 10 pairs of tickets for ICT games and we thank them for this. We will be holding a competition soon and 10 lucky winners will receive a pair of tickets to any home game. We have a very strong partnership with ICT and it is great to see this going from strength to strength.”
