We were delighted to welcome two football fanatics to the stadium on Saturday as they completed a lifetime goal of visiting every senior football ground in England and Wales (92) and Scotland (42).

Manchester City supporters, Tony Preston, from Stockport, and Paul Dyson, from Audenshaw,  said they had “saved the best for last”.

Tony said: “We knew Inverness Caledonian Thistle had a magnificent view from the boardroom and saved this for our final visit. We got a great day and really enjoyed the game and meeting everyone at the club.”

Tony’s first Scottish visit was to Tynecastle – so it was a bonus that he got to meet Hearts manager, Craig Levein, who was checking out two of his Betfred Cup opponents. He began his stadium bagging in 1990, eight years after Paul.
