David Wotherspoon leaves ICTFC

The club can confirm that David Wotherspoon has left the club following the expiry of his contract.

The club had offered David a contract to remain at ICTFC through to the end of season 2024/25 however the player has decided that his future lays elsewhere.

David, 33 years-old, joined us in October as he became Duncan Ferguson’s first signing as ICTFC Manager. David made an instant impact, scoring on his debut against Airdrieonians in a 1-0 win.

David was named the cinch Championship player of the month for November for his performances. During November, David scored in our wins against Ayr United and Cowdenbeath and he also scored in our 4-1 win against Queen’s Park in December.

The club would like to thank David for his contributions while at Inverness Caledonian Thistle, he was a consummate professional and always a positive influence both on and off the field and we wish him the very best in the future.
