ICTFC Chairman Graham Rae has paid tribute to the “truly outstanding”service given to the club by long-serving full back David Raven. David, who joined the club in the summer of 2012, played the last of his 188 games for the club against St Mirren.
Mr Rae said: “The tributes paid by our fans to David Raven tell their own story. He was a real favourite of the supporters because of his total commitment to the club, both on and off the pitch. He gave 100 per cent in every game he played and always had time to spend with our supporters, who see him as a club legend.”
“Who can forget his extra-time winning goal in the 3-2 Scottish Cup semi-final win over Celtic, which helped us make history by lifting the national trophy at Hampden. He has been a truly outstanding servant and we wish him every success wherever his future career takes him. Thanks for the memories, David.
