Inverness Caledonian Thistle are pleased to announce that Danny Devine has become the club’s captain with immediate effect.

Danny was serving as vice captain but now assumes the role of Captain with Billy Mckay relinquishing captain duties as he supports Head Coach Scott Kellacher in his player-coach role.

In total, Danny has played 228 games for the club and has scored 10 goals.

Upon being named captain, Danny said: “I’m very excited. We’re in a difficult position right now but I’m very excited that Kell and the coaching staff have put their faith in me. I’m looking forward to stepping up and leading the boys.”
