Billy Mckay named cinch Championship Player of the Month

Congratulations to ICTFC Striker Billy Mckay who has been named the cinch Championship Player of the Month for January 2023

Billy hit an impressive five goals in four games during January which included a hat-trick against Cove Rangers with goals also coming against Arbroath and Raith Rovers.

Upon winning the award, the striker said: “They are individual awards but I know myself, especially being a striker, you can’t get these awards without your teammates setting you up. It shows the team is doing better and after the Christmas break we needed a reaction and we’ve done that. We’re five unbeaten in the league and we just need to turn these draws into wins and we can shoot right up the table.”
