Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC can confirm the signing of striker Alex Samuel on loan from Ross County until the end of the season. 

Alex, 28 years-old, started his career at Aberystwyth Town, breaking through as a 16-year-old. He then moved to Swansea City where he had loan spells with Greenock Morton and Newport County. Alex was named Newport’s Player of the Season for his loan stint with the club. 

In 2017, Alex joined Stevenage and after two years with the club he signed for Wycombe Wanderers and won the Young Player of the Year award with the club during the 2018/19  season in EFL League One. He helped Wycombe to promotion to the Championship in 2019/20, starting in their play-off final win against Oxford.  

Alex signed for Ross County in August 2021. He signed a new 2-year deal with Ross County in June 2023. 

He has represented Wales at Under 18s level, with him scoring twice in his three caps.
