Inverness Caledonian Thistle are pleased to announce defender Jake Davidson has signed a new contract until January 2026.
The defender is continuing to recover from an operation following a serious knee injury suffered in November last year.
Jake, 24 years-old, joined us in 2023 from Queen’s Park. He scored in his league debut for the club in August 2023 against Queen’s Park. He spent the second half of 2023/24 on loan with Hamilton Accies and returned from the loan in summer 2024.
Davidson made 20 appearances last term before picking up his injury in our home match against Alloa Athletic in November 2024.
Jake will now continue to focus on his recovery. In total, Jake has made 38 appearances for the club and has scored twice.
Upon signing, Jake said: “I’m delighted, it’s been a hard 7 months for me personally so to get my contract sorted is great and now I’m looking forward to focusing on my rehab.”
“I’m 6 months post-op now, if everything goes well then hopefully I’ll be close to being back on the pitch by the end of the year.”
