THE COACH : Scott Kellacher

“We’re on a good run of form, just like Dundee, so it makes for a good game. We’ve always been a club that’s enjoyed the cup competitions, so we’ll go into the game full of confidence, we’ll go down there and have a right go.”

“Dundee are playing well, after starting slow a bit like ourselves, but both teams have found a good bit of form so it should make for an exciting game, we’ll go down there and certainly give it our best shot.”

“When it comes to the cup competitions, it’s always challenging when you are playing teams that are in the league above but we’ve always done ok in the cup competitions. As I say, we’ll go down, give it our best shot, we’re confident but never too confident, we’ll give it everything we’ve got and hopefully we can get something from the game.”

“It’s a great test, it’ll show us how far we’ve come and show us where we want to get back to. We’ve changed the team around a few times over the past few weeks, to keep it fresh and it’s worked in our favour and it’s made boys hungry. We’ve got boys fighting for places, knowing if they’re not playing then they can come in at any time and they’ve got to be at it.”

THE OPPONENT

Dundee currently sit 10th in the Scottish Premiership, after a steady first half of the season. This will be Dundee’s first match since December 30th, after their winter break. In their last match before the break, Dundee beat St Johnstone 2-0 at McDiarmid Park.

Since last playing, Dundee have signed goalkeeper Jérémy Malherbe and have extended the deals of A-Jay Leitch-Smith and Jon Aurtenetxe until the summer.

Leitch-Smith is currently Dundee’s top scorer on five goals and Mark O’Hara is close behind him on four goals.

TEAM NEWS

Nathan Austin has trained in the last couple of days and could be involved, while Carl Tremarco has started gym work but remains out with a hamstring injury.

Goalkeeper Mark Ridgers had the following to say in the build up to the match: “It’s one of those games where we can relax really, the last couple of league games have been quite high-profile games for us but we’ve managed to get the results.”

“It’s a game where we’re not really expected to go there and get a result, but we’re going to hopefully go there and continue the good form that we’re in and put on a show.

“If we can pull off an upset then it’ll be a good result for us, but as I said the last two league matches were really important for us and we managed to get the results to get us back in there.”

Head-to-Head : Dundee Wins - 5   Draws - 11     ICTFC Wins - 11
