ICTFC head to Greenock in search of three points to continue their impressive run of results and continue their steady progress up the table.
A win would put ICTFC level of points with Morton, and potentially only three points behind the play-off positions.

“Against Dumbarton last week we had the chance to overtake them, which we took in a tough match; and this week we travel to Morton with the possibility, if we win, to go level with them and that’s the aim.”
“We’ve looked at the teams above us and we’re sneaking closer to Queens, Livingston, Dunfermline and Morton. Morton are the team immediately above us so they become our next target.”
“Morton are like every team in the league, they are capable of some wonderful results. They can beat the best, there’s no doubt about that and they can lose to everyone else, that’s what they’ve done. I think Morton and Queen of the South have gone under the radar, they’ve got good quality players, they’ve not been too far off the play-offs, they’ve been quite safe from the relegation scrap and have always been just two or three points off the play-offs.”
“Nobody is mentioning Queens or Morton, and all of a sudden Queens got themselves into third spot and now people are talking about them as title and play-off contenders. That’s where we need to get to, the fact we’re getting closer to these teams proves we’re heading in the right direction and we want to get into that pack, go under the radar until the last quarter when it’s time to strike for home.”
Morton are currently sitting three points above ICTFC in table and have had a steady season thus far in the Championship. Ex-Dundee player Gary Harkins is their current top scorer in the Ladbrokes Championship this season with 5 goals and Robert Thomson is just behind him on 4.
Ton Manger Jim Duffy was shortlisted for PFA manager of the year last season, as he took his side into the Championship play-off quarter finals.
Iain Vigurs is available for selection again after serving a suspension last week. Owain Fon Williams and Felitciano Zschusschen have returned to light training.
Collin Seedorf said the following in the build up to the match: “It’s been really frustrating for me personally. It was my first real big injury, and then you are on the side-lines trying to help the team as much as you can by talking, coaching and helping the guys in your position.”
“The good thing is I played at the beginning of the season, I really loved winning games and the fans behind you singing your name. I can’t wait to get back again. I’ve trained really hard and I’m back fit, I even can’t sleep because I just want to play so badly!”
Head to Head : Morton Wins : 2 - Draws : 2 - ICTFC Wins : 12
