Goalkeeper Antonio Reguero -- once of Real Madrid -- gives Caley Thistle a Spanish touch while from England 19-year-old striker Jason Oswell and 27 year old right back David Raven have also arrived in Inverness and agreed terms.
"They've all agreed to sign and the trio will be challenging for a first team place from day one", said Butcher."Their arrival is a timely boost and we are in advanced negotiations with a view to adding another couple of new recruits next week."
Antonio Reguero, who is 29, was in the Real Madrid youth setup from 1994 to 2002 then stepped up to the first team squad. Vincente del Bosque, now manager of Spain, gave Antonio his first team debut for Real. But a serious knee injury saw him fall back in the queue at the Bernabeu and he moved on to Villareal.
More recently he has played in the Second Division with Orihuela and Alicante and last season with Gandia. "He wants to play in Scotland and he came up and played a trial at the end of last season and we liked him and he liked Inverness", explained Butcher.
Jason Oswell is from Northwich and joined Crewe Alexandra in the summer of 2010, scoring four goals in his first season, Last season he netted four more -- then went on loan to Rhyl where he slammed in 19 goals in 20 games. He is out of contract and is keen on the chance to play SPL.
"Jason's a finisher whose best is yet to come and we're excited about his potential", said Butcher.
David Raven, mainly a right back but with experience of centre back, was at Liverpool from 2004-06 and captained the reserve team. Rafa Benitez gave him his debut in a Carling Cup quarter final with Spurs at White Hart Lane and he made two other first team starts, in the FA Cup and the Premiership.
The England under-20 and under-23 cap moved on to Carlisle United and played 135 games for them before switching to Shrewsbury Town last season only for injury to restrict him to 17 starts.
"David's got a solid footballing background and though primarily a right back he gives us the option of playing him anywhere in the back four", said Butcher.
